それは、お金を稼ぐための「仕事」がないから、です。 なぜ、仕事がないのか？ それは、教育がないことが原因です。 では、なぜ教育がないのか？
ジョン自身が何度も何度も「大きく考える」と繰り返すように、スケーラビリティ（規模性）や成果をとても重視しています。

多くの慈善団体やNPO法人は、「私達イイコトやってます」「予算いくら使ってます」と、努力や姿勢ばかりを強調し、その成果はあまり出ていないのが現状。 一方Room to Readはきちんと成果を出している。 世界を変えている。 今では6時間に1校ペースで、途上国に新しい学校が建っているそうです。 目標は、 「2020年までに1000万人の子供達に学びの場を届けること」 素晴らしいビジョン。 先日、MindsetSchoolでも支援をしていくことが決まりました！！ さて、皆さんも、何か出来ることをしませんか？
従来のように、貧しい人に直接お金を寄付したり、週末にゴミを拾ったり...
構造を変えるには、変革を起こす仕組みが必要です。 そんな仕組みをビジネスの力によって創り出すのが、社会起業家の仕事なんです。
